Chicken Soup

Over at 365cards on April 1st was a challenge to be silly. Well I found this digital stamp from Dustin Pike that just had to be used.

On the outside it reads "Here's your chicken soup"

On the inside it reads "Get feeling better soon!"

Happy Birthday - 9

Over at 365cards day 24, is a challenge M, N, & O. Marker, Number and Orange. So I made 2 of these cards for a birthday party my daughter will be going to tomorrow night for classmates. Obviously since I made 2 they are for twins, and obviously since the #9 is on them they will be 9 years old. LOL! Hopefully they will enjoy them, if not hopefully they will enjoy the $10 bill that will be in each of them!

Over at 365cards day 17 was a challenge using the following ad.

In my card I picked out the curtains for most of my inspiration. The color green was definately a big part of it. I also looked at the top of the curtains for the box layered look. And I used ribbon to create the pleats in the curtains. Thanks for looking.

St. Paddy's Day card

Over at 365cards day 12 is keep it simple. The challenge is to use pattern paper and a sentiment and 1 embellishment. I changed a little, I didn't use a sentiment. Instead I used a digistamp and pattern paper and an embellishment of ribbon.

sunday sketch at 365 cards

Over at 365cards today is a sketch. Of course this is my submission. I did change the sketch some but I do think that the card is still recognizable to the sketch. It is hard to see but I did stamp "season greetings" at the bottom to take place of one part of the sketch.

The poinsetta is a digital image that I colored with my copic markers. I needed that color therapy today and it did the trick!

Sunday sketch

Over at 365cards last sunday was a sketch challenge. Here is my submission for that challenge. I am much more comfortable with these kind of challenges than the vintage style, though I will have to say what is a challenge if it's not out of your orginal comfort zone, right? BTW the mouse stamp is a digital image from Dustin_Pike. I colored him in with my copic markers and added sakura stardust on the trim and ball of his hat.
